The official H/L yesterday at GR was 48/43 there was 0.32” of rainfall. There was no sunshine the highest wind gust was 21 MPH out of the E. For today the average H/L is 47/33 the record high of 68 was set in 1990 the coldest high of 18 was set in 1933 the record low of 10 was also set in 1933 the warmest low of 58 was set in 1960. The wettest was in 1989 with 1.84” the most snowfall was 4.1” in 1969 the most on the ground was 5” in 1974. Last year the H/L was 59/34. At the current time it is cloudy and 45 here in MBY.
Having seen the really big snowstorms of 1967 and 1968 and several other storms of lesser amounts I have been looking at just how todays models would handle such a event. Still waiting and it may not happen again I don't know.
Widespread 1 to 2 inch rainfall amounts are looking more likely through the middle of the country with the storm Monday and Tuesday. Models are also hinting at a severe weather outbreak for Oklahoma and North Texas Monday evening.
