...WIND ADVISORY FOR THE REST OF TONIGHT IS CANCELLED...
* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, winds have fallen below Advisory
criteria and will continue to decrease into Tuesday morning. For
the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 25 to 45 mph with gusts up
to 60 mph expected and up to 70 mph isolated gusts.
* WHERE...Craigmont, Lapwai, Cloverland Road, Othello, Potlatch,
Airway Heights, Grand Coulee, Quincy, Creston, Lewiston Grade,
Uniontown, Kamiah, Tekoa, Peck, Davenport, Badger Mountain Road,
Rosalia, Moses Lake, Genesee, Gifford, Pullman, Mountain Road,
Hayden, Downtown Spokane, Ritzville, Peola, Culdesac, Coeur
d'Alene, Worley, Rockford, Colfax, Lewiston, Mansfield, La Crosse,
Anatone, Oakesdale, Post Falls, Coulee City, Plummer, Waterville,
Harrington, Ephrata, Moscow, Fairfield, Soldiers Meadow Road,

* WHEN...From 10 PM Tuesday to 4 PM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...In areas with saturated soils from previous
recent rainfall, trees and power lines could see higher impacts.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
Maybe! No notable clusters showing continental air chances at this point. Really, the ensemble means have been pretty consistent with how cold things get next week. I look at Vancouver BC and there hasn’t been much support for 850s below about -5 or -6C. GFS tried for a bit but there wasn’t much support from any other model.
