Started to dig into some forecast soundings, and the models are indicating a ~15,000 foot thick dgz for a while on the northern fringe of the system (so not where the heaviest snow band is modeled). Decent lift in there too. So if that's right, then see no reason why there wouldn't be very good ratios in the northern portion of the snow shield.
