I’d say July 2022 was a little more impressive from a humidity standpoint. A couple of those days were running in the 65-70 degree range for several hours in the afternoon/evening just via mid level moisture. This one was more freakish since it’s so rare here to break a heatwave with such well timed surface based convection.

Instability seems weak tonight. NW Oregon and SW Washington both faired well today but there was a lot of shredding of cells has they drifted north. ULL slowly moves north overnight, so the environment may recover as better lift returns late tonight into tomorrow morning. I have a meeting indoors early tomm anyways, so I wouldn't mind a bust

83F here at 11:15pm is pretty wild. I don’t remember specifically what the heat dome produced but I bet it wasn’t much warmer.
