Answer the question, why is 95 degrees your new # for arguments.... that is all I asked, yet you wanna argue BS stuff, answer the question!! No matter what anyone says you have to bring up 95 degrees, why, just why, ANSWER THE WHY???????
You are the only on preaching prolonged heat over and over again!!
There's your narrative. No matter how you measure it, it's been a cooler summer than most recently, with less high end or prolonged heat. Just the facts.
Don't make me change my username to "95+".
Looks like June 2020 was 2.6F cooler at SLE than June 2026.
July 2020 was 0.5F cooler there than July 2026.
And August 2020 was 1.2F cooler than this month has been to date.
So while they maybe share some macro-level similarities, 2020 was distinctly cooler throughout (and distinctly wetter thanks to May-June).
No, it does not. A 5 degree difference is not comparable in the summer season overall, but hey, you do you as you always do. Mister use any other metric for posts that don't actually align with the actual comment by most people on here, "must create a narrative for zero reason"!
Now, a 5 degree difference on the low side during winter in the PNW means we probably have alot of us gizzing in our pants with snow and ice and stuff, nothing like a summer difference!! That would be worth pointing out!!
