About .5" to .75" here today with some rain falling with sunshine.

Looks nice. It's been completely wet here since yesterday morning and continues to rain as we speak.

Well, he is right about one thing. It's been an incredibly dry winter in Medford. Horrible climate over there. As for patterns in animal behavior changing...well, we'll just have to wait and see, eh?

It was still snowing here at 2am. Checked at 7am and by then it was finally done. Clear blue skies now.

I haven't measured with a ruler but I did go for a lengthy walk just now and I'd say between 6" to 10" depending on location.

There was a short lull in the snow but it's full bore again. I can't believe it's snowed so much. This has far exceeded my expectations.

Fresh snow makes everything better. So simple yet so amazing. I just wonder why the forecasts from EC, Wunderground, accuweather, etc are so warm when the models clearly suggest conditions favorable for snow.

Meanwhile at ground zero... That was about an hour ago at work. Still coming down good here in North Van. Holy bejeezus...

I doubt that verifies for the the Vancouver area but I sure as all hell hope so, especially after tomorrow's snow. Lots of single digit readings in north central Washington right now. Just need that air unlocked somehow.

That SSW was just what we needed to reset the background state. If this can maintain itself throughout 2018 and into 2019, we'll have an interesting year and one heck of a winter in 18-19 which will obviously be the ten year anniversary of the much beloved 2008-2009 December blast.

The models have been pretty horrible this season, so I'd say definitely.
