Well, he is right about one thing. It's been an incredibly dry winter in Medford. Horrible climate over there. As for patterns in animal behavior changing...well, we'll just have to wait and see, eh?
Fresh snow makes everything better. So simple yet so amazing. I just wonder why the forecasts from EC, Wunderground, accuweather, etc are so warm when the models clearly suggest conditions favorable for snow.
I doubt that verifies for the the Vancouver area but I sure as all hell hope so, especially after tomorrow's snow. Lots of single digit readings in north central Washington right now. Just need that air unlocked somehow.
That SSW was just what we needed to reset the background state. If this can maintain itself throughout 2018 and into 2019, we'll have an interesting year and one heck of a winter in 18-19 which will obviously be the ten year anniversary of the much beloved 2008-2009 December blast.
