Read this morning about discussions Kamala's team had in flight to Houston about Trump going off the rails at the NABJ conference as it was happening and Kamala was against taking Trump's racial bait and wanted to let him twist in the wind. She has good instincts on Trump. If she engaged and tried to defend herself it would legitimize his comments. But now Trump just keeps going trying to prove that he was right. He can't wrap his head around being two different races at the same time.
You know its bad when Lindsey Graham has to attempt clean up on aisle 6.
Many Republicans agreed. The consultant close to Trump’s campaign said it was a mistake for him to have veered off into an attack on Harris’ racial identity at the NABJ convention.
It happened, the person said, because the journalists’ questions “pissed him off, and he’s still Donald Trump.”
On Capitol Hill, many Republicans – including longtime Trump allies – were critical of the former president’s comments.
“I’ve known the vice president for a while. She’s always embraced her heritage proudly, as she should,” South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said. “My problem with Vice President Harris is the policy choices she’s made.”
I think you have this wrong, equity is the same as equality of opportunity. It means trying to give everyone as equal a chance of succeeding as possible.
Most spots across the county have seen between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain over the last couple days. The most I found was at West Grove with 2.06" and the least at Devault with only 0.63".
Shower chances again this afternoon. Tomorrow looks like the sunniest day of the week with temps well into the 80's and maybe 90 in some lower spots in Chesco. Rain chances ramp up again on Tuesday and look to last for much of the week including some remnants from Tropical Storm Debby.
Chester County records for today: High 104 degrees at Phoenixville (1931) / Low 47 degrees at Coatesville (1951) / Rain 6.23" at West Bradford (2020) from the remnants of TS Isaias.
