PDX's temperature range of 27 degrees so far this month is the smallest ever for November. Maximum of 63 and minimum of 36. A remarkably stagnant and stale month. 2025 is absolutely vaulting up the list of worst weather years ever. Dynamic weather just doesn't exist anymore.

Ahhh, hey Randyc321! yeah @Black Hole is Derek Hodges who used to live up the street from me, and if I am correct he has a degree and has worked for two NWS offices now. He is currently with the Tulsa NWS. Pretty neat because back in the day he and I used to post a lot of analysis on the old Fox 12 Weather Blog. Hey @Front Ranger did you use a different name in the past? Richard was definitely memorable for his interesting use of grammar and explanations. Snow Wizard(Jim) to me in many ways was/is the heart and soul of the forum. Hopefully he is okay, and will be back sometime this winter. Andy was quirky in his own ways, but knew quite a bit. I don't know what he's up to nowadays. MossMan, honestly might be my favorite poster? It's possible. Tim is also a fixture here couldn't imagine him not being here. It's definitely pepto in this case lol. 90" has happened over 4 week periods, but AFAIK it has never happened over a 2 week period. I think Island Park over the hill is more capable of this -- they got 130" in December 1996 for example. Nothing to be jealous of here so far sadly -- our largest "snowfall" this season has been 2" and we are about to get dry slotted tomorrow.
