New El Nino starts impact the N. Pacific much more in April vs March SOI was +30 today.. so old ENSO state is holding on for now

NAM has been wanting to push the boundary farther south. But it's the NAM. Who knows at this point. Even if the boundary manages to push all the way south through my area, still probably shouldn't sleep on a severe threat locally. I'm reminded of the event last March when multiple tornadoes went through Gary despite them being a bit north of the front (temp was only in the 40s there)

Warm and hot are the same to me. Idk. Probably a strong ridge though.
