It's still there- and the recurving typhoon in the Pacific makes sense for a trough in Central/Eastern USA in about 7-13 days.

CZ still active south of I-90, though rates aren't that good north of Enumclaw. But that specific band strengthened over Maple Valley and Ravensdale after pushing over me. It did give me some snow too, but pretty light.

2012 was my first April here and we had accumulating snow at the beginning of that month. I’ve had sticking snow in April in 2012, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, and now 26. Definitely more common than November here over the past 15 years.

Tied for 2nd latest accumulating snow since I’ve been up here with April 15, 2015… Womp womp. Latest was 4/18/2023.
