Yeah well our day to day variability in the summer is even less than yours in the winter.
Like 90% of days have highs between 85-95°F and lows are even tighter between 70-75°F or even warmer recently.
Last July. Went almost the entire month without an airmass change of any kind. SO FUN.
Great... and you seem really angry about it. No one is telling you to be excited about your summer. You have some crazy variety the rest of the year. Our climate is pretty boring all year long. Why would I have the same perspective as you when we live in totally different places?
You don’t even have to make summer forecasts out here now because every year is basically the same with very little day to day variability.
A “hot” summer biases towards mid-90s while a “cool” summer biases to upper-80s. But both will have the same lows in the 70s every night. And very similar precipitation totals of 3-6”/month.
Tell me what is exciting about that? Especially from a forecasting standpoint? It’s pure stagnation.
