There are some hidden gems where houses have their own little coves or islands that give it a private retreat feel without being more than a couple dozen minutes from America’s greatest Safeway. If I could convince my wife that it’s my turn to spend the next decade in my home town, I’d move back in a heart beat, 9.2% mortgage interest be dammed. Ok, maybe I wouldn’t rush back, but no reason why you shouldn’t check it out.
