As I've mentioned on here before a man was murdered just a few miles from my mine by an illegal in the wonderful year of 2020. The US Marshalls had to conduct a month long man hunt to find the bastard. You can pin that one on our wonderful State and King County government for not handing him over to ICE when they were supposed a few weeks before the murder. Amazing how that story barely made the headlines other than in Ellensburg.
April was running insanely dry for my area until the last week or so. It's a good thing we got that wet period.
I really like how the chilly night periods keep returning this season. We've had a few runs that have approached the coldest mins I've recorded for their respective periods. It's kind of interesting to see the posts in the April thread talking about there being many consecutive above normal monthly averages. That hasn't been the case for SEA. They have actually done OK for how warm ENSO was for much of the season.
Ehhhh I was thinking that too, but the growth has definitely stunted over the last few weeks and it does look different than most growing seasons. And I do know what a normal Spring looks like here, I've lived in this house for fifteen years. Like I was saying to Randy, you and him live out in nature where shade keeps things more reliably moist year round. Not to mention you both live at least 500' higher than me and recieve more rain than I do. It might be a metro area exclusive issue.
