I really think it was hard to stay focused with how bad Biden was doing. Also I think the early questions were more in issues he is much more popular than Biden on, aside from abortion, though I thought that went better for him than I could have imagined.
Once they got into January 6th and things like that... That's just going to be really tough territory, so he just kept taking it back to inflation, the economy, and immigration where he has huge polling leads over Biden. If there is actually other debate he should try to have some actual answers on those topics. I have some advice on how he can answer the climate change question if he's interested in saying something coherent there.
Seems like the quick trough on Sunday also means warmer temps earlier.
For example... the control run for the holiday weekend at PDX (starting on the 4th) shows 90, 98, 95, and then only 74 on Sunday then back to 80 on Monday. And I assume it still has the same cool bias as the ECMWF.
