Member view of all the Ensemble suites was kind of interesting. While the mean on the EPS got ever so slightly worse, it does have a growing cluster of cold members, so all hope is not lost. With the GEFS, it actually had some pretty decent improvements over the 18z. There's just a cluster of warm members that's dragging the mean up there as well. About 30% of members are reasonably cold though. CMC had a drastic improvement over its 12z suite, which had basically no cold members. AIGEFS remains the coldest for now with about 50% of its members being decently cold. AIFS Ensembles still the worst, with only about 10% of its members being even remotely cold. A drastic improvement over everything we have seen from that suite so far this winter though.
