Maybe @StormchaserChuck1 was right and his theory of a multidecadal regime where the west drys out and warms up is right. We may be looking at the late 2040s to 2050s as our next window of any significant cold. I’ll probably shut this place down, for real this time. Really no point to this hobby if two mid Atlantic bros are going to spam the board with nonsense, only offering us a reprieve when one of them violates the term of their parole or the other is lost in the jungle looking for some rare shrooms.

This glacier is not melting at all, nearly hit 40°F today and the ice sheet did not shrink one iota, still ~ 8” depth. Can walk on it without falling through. Definitely haven’t seen this since February 2007. And there is another arctic assault coming up this weekend so it’s only going to glaciate further.
