Circling back to curling for a sec. Retired NFL star Jared Allen has gotten pretty serious about curling. It’s kind of a funny story to me. Apparently he bet a friend in 2018 that he thought he could make the olympics and he’s been legitimately trying ever since. Doesn’t sound like he’s doing very well. Often gets shutout at higher level competitions but he loves it.

They actually did get a lot, though certainly an exaggeration from that account. Max depth was probably 6" if I had to guess, with a foot total across all the snowfalls that melted in between.
