Why can’t the precip set up over Haida Gwaii for a few weeks while we bask in 70 degree heat

Already up to today's forecast high of 61º here under severe clear sunny skies. First 70º of the year within reach? No doubt the upcoming precip boundary will set up just north of Eugene so that everyone from Salem north complains about being inundated while Eugene south stays desert dry.

Blasting sun during your commute? You really do focus on commuting. I have never heard someone complain so much about commuting on sunny days. Low sun angle blinding sun is only a problem after 8 p.m. in the summer. And "blasting sun" and temps in the 50s in during the summer? That doesn't even occur in Fairbanks or the Yukon.

I guess it will be rain for the next two weeks or so
