It’s the February of summer. We’ve got two weeks of properly high sun angle and summer nights left. After that the shadow ratio races to one while we start to see sub 50° angle days march south from the border. Oh, and three weeks until Pumpkin Spice and Halloween candy.

This is my least favorite pattern when I'm situated in the warmest part of the thermal belt. I can have some of the warmest temperatures in the western lowlands. 78 right now. At least the AQI is pushing 300 and the GFS has turned sharply warmer with 90s for another 5 days at least. Sigh.

Got a few nice mid-level clouds today.

AQI is at 439 but it looks like it’s about to push to my east a bit and hopefully I can get down into the 140ish range the next couple of days.

Agree, it’s pretty bad here in Tigard compared to my place in Federal Way. Enjoy the coast !
