My rain gauge has 8.9" of rain on the year, but I'm sure we missed a lot because of snow. During the January event we got just over 5' total of VERY fluffy snow, which melted to about 2.1 inches of precip, none of which ended up in the rain gauge. Including all of my snow events, I'd guess maybe 13" of precip on the year.
Pretty surprising I have more than you!
I've had that happen TWICE to me, and also an inflatable kiddie pool blew over into my yard once, all from the same neighbor, who does not live there anymore because they did a LOT of tax fraud, I do not think they can afford sunriver anymore. Hopefully his kids are doing okay.
My aunt lives in Bellevue and hasn't been to Seattle since before covid.
We're constantly on her to sell the Bellevue house and move out here. Why have all that equity tied up in her primary residence (that she bought in the early 1980s), when she's retired, doesn't need access to the Puget Sound job market, and hates Seattle anyway. Lol
