Ooh nice!
I spent a night in my car at the truck stop that is just across the state line as you get into Alabama. Heard a lot of owls.
Also had breakfast at the Love’s right where your dot is at. That stretch from Chattanooga to Birmingham is absolutely beautiful to drive nearly any time of year, especially in late April when everything has just leafed out and the valleys are in a Seahawk Action Green against a deep blue spring sky. I can appreciate why folks homestead in the southern extremities of the Appalachians.
Mostly sunny and 88F here with comfortable humidity. Flew right through the AL on the way and it was easily the roughest part of the flight. Need to drop some cyclone suppressants into it on the way back.
Really sad to hear about the Jeju Air crash in Korea . It looks like my flight passed right by it around Taiwan. I remember it because someone on my flight started having a seizure around that point of the flight, but they managed to get them stabilized so they continued to bkk.
I have to be in a window seat…And on prescription meds. Not a fan of a very fast very thin tube that shoots you up to 35k feet and not being in control of it. Don’t think it helped when the United Airlines flight 232 crashed in Sioux City a day before my first ever flight. I was glued to the tv all day. And of course the plane that we were getting into to fly to Minneapolis…A DC-10.
