Sounds like my parents house should be fine. The levee breach was about ~1/4 mile SW of them. They got woke up by excavators rolling down their street, helicopter overhead and the police telling folks to leave. Kind of freaky it being 2am and having no idea what’s going on.
Looks like a tree fell on the levee wall causing it to burst. Some apartments down the road from them got flooded and some cars are underwater from what they told me. King county was on it though and sounds like it’ll be fixed up. Still sucks for those people in this area. Some people had to be rushed out on rafts. My dad sent me the area thats actually affected.
The temperature here in my yard held steady overnight ranging from a low of 20 to the current reading of 22.
