Mt Pilchuck used to have a ski resort. A couple bad seasons in a row in the mid-70s (particuarly 76-77) forced it to close. Wouldn't be surprised if Summit at Snoqualmie and Mt Hood Skibowl are headed for the same fate in coming decades. -
