One of the more impressive inversions I've ever seen out here. Drizzle in Pasadena and downright raining in Glendora. Barely 60 in Rialto at 830am on July 1st. Wasn't until the beginnings of Palm Springs as I dipped in to the valley that the gunk literally fell of a cliff at long last.
Still waiting on a reply from someone knowledgeable about this subject. Is this mega Nino acting accordingly thus far and is NOAA right that this winter to expect it to not follow normal Nino guidelines?
IN had 57 tornadoes in June, breaking the previous record for a month of 44. What's really crazy is that all of them occurred between 6/11 and 6/27, so that number was achieved in about a two and a half week timeframe.
Some brutal conditions right now. Michigan, oh and the washington dc area taking it on chin right now! Some low 80s dewpoints and a 103 temp west of DC.
Nah Saturday looks pretty nice. Low-mid 70s and mostly sunny is about as good as you could write it up really. Looks like it could rain a bit overnight tomorrow into Friday but Friday looks decent in the afternoon.
