High was 77F today, the high peaked later than normal at like 3-4pm

It’s really hard for me to say this summer was less pleasant than 2022. That summer had some horrific heat. Even August 2016 was much more extreme than this August.

Well, those rankings you shared showed it definitely has fallen short temp-wise of the vast majority of the post 2012 summers. And it also hasn't had the extreme or prolonged heat events that most of those summers had.
