52 in North Bend right now... unusually large diurnal spreads out here with this warm spell. Often its in the mid to upper 60s out here at dawn during a heat wave. Apparently there is no east wind component... at least not yet. It actually feels chilly outside right now and yet will be uncomfortably hot by noon.
I'm impressed that the ICON sniffed out the track of Beryl and now it appears a track near or just south of Houston is likely. The Euro/AI have the storm making landfall between Corpus Chrisiti and Houston...quite the adjustment from the King Euro as it was by far the most southerly model for days.
Pretty morning. Some high clouds to the east are making for a nice sunrise. 60 here which is a little cooler than I was expecting. May barely scrape 50s in the next half hour or so. PDX fell below 65 as well, which is cooler than forecast. Gotta take every little “w” you can in this pattern.
