1st single digits since Dec 1990 for SeaTac at hour three hundred and sixty six. Go figure. Fourth attempt's the charm, I suppose? (for this 2020s -PDO cycle) Dec 2021 - Not quiiiite cold enough. Dec 2022 - Not a direct hit. Canucks freeze harder while Seattle faces cloud/mixing issues. Jan 2024 - Mammoth airmass but a half-blow. Fell to 15F overnight fully mixed with a breeze (which is impressive on its own right). Could've been 6-8F had we #troughed a little orbier and cut out the jetty crap overhead mixing away our fun, much like the Euro prophesized a week prior.

On the GEFS the pattern starts to develop around Day 8.5 now. Sneaking well inside Day 10.

That would lead to widespread blowing snow here.
