95/82 in NOLA was miles worse than 123/30 in Death Valley. I've felt both and the former is just on a whole new level. Humidity is where it's at if you want to torture people with heat.
Now the 102/95 spreads that occasionally show up on the shore of the Red Sea.... That is under the "morbid curiosity" section of my bucket list.
Oh believe me, the self awareness is not amiss over here. I am an unapologetic Seattleite, through and through! 65/51 totally feels a bit humid to me. Conversely I am also resilient to long stretches of cloudcover, especially outside of Winter. But humidity kills me.
I visited NOLA back in Summer of 2017, in the middle of a heatwave. Some 95/82 days when I arrived. Satan would have blushed.
