I was Randyc321 then but changed my name since everyone calls MossMan Randy. I was by in large a lurker, but did post when i had the nerve. This site was not kind to newbies in them days.
That's all I got. Who else can add or correct?
Since I am one those of us peons east of the Rockies I will pretend that your pepto is as meaningful as ours. Just so as to not to become too jaded by your posts, not that I would actually leave the the area close o the coast. it's been my home my whole 61 years. I have also spent an entire winter in the midwest in 1982.
Sad/strange story. I was a passenger in a early 70's Nova and in the heavy fog of Fall in SoCal we struck a homeless guy in the hip and he flew in the air and rolled into the gutter. I still see in my minds eye. Bob(the driver, 17 yrs old, I had just turned 18) skidded to a stop, and then probably 2 seconds later, which seemed like forever, he punched it and bailed with that big V8, and off we went. Cops came to my house a few days later and told me he confessed and since I was 18, I could be charged with aiding and abetting a minor felon on the run! A 5 yr sentence in Ca. State prison. I was a foolish/spoiled 18 yr old. Never been arrested before, nor till now. My Dad went to a lawyer the next day and asked if i could leave. The next morning I was on a plane to my Aunts in Kansas City Ks in early December. I was there till March, after his trial. I had only turned 18 in November. He had to enlist in Marines, and the dude that we hit recovered from from two broken arms and two broken legs, and a crushed hip. Was a nice snowy frigid winter.
00z AIFS-ENS Moses Lake. The overall 500mb pattern looked like crap, but nonetheless a decent number of cold/very cold members are shown. Obviously there are too many warm members above climo, but it could have been worse. Vancouver, BC featured a number of cold members. Williams Lake, BC about half the members are clustered very cold to bitter.
