SLC's 1990-2020 thirty year avg is like 51". They've managed to eclipse that once in nine years lol. Twice in 13 years. Their last three winters have been pitiful. Their climate is broken,. They also sit adjacent to a lake that is quickly drying up, which also contains arsenic, lead, and mercury on its lakebed. lol what a disaster of a location.

yep, In Columbia SC we hit -1 in Jan '85 at the airport SW of downtown, which is the 2nd coldest record low I believe. I walked across the cove of the Lake we lived on, Lake Murray as it had frozen over enough to walk and skate on in some of the shallower back coves. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Columbia on the mentioned lake (Chapin, SC) it was -4 on my grandpas old school mercury thermometer on1/21/1985. It was -2 in the 1899 cold wave mentioned in Columbia for the all time low
