Hey @Tom, we decided to make a Spring Break road trip to Arizona (Flagstaff) and New Mexico next week… how is the weather looking out there? Looks like it’s going to be warming back up out there by mid next week. Excited to visit as many National Parks and Monuments as possible next week.

Summer like dryness basically set in here around 4/13 last year and on 4/25 in 2023. And I'd say it happened by 3/31 in 2021. So it's not implausible at all to think we're on the precipice of the Big Dry. Obviously 2022 was different and 2024 was a nice mix of weather patterns and weak systems through the spring. This is another even year, so hopefully that pattern continues.

No sun at all today. After weeks of heat. I guess seeing a day of no sun is okay. But I don't want to see days of rainless gloom.

For sure. When I say hopefully not much rain I mean for the next 7-10 days. There will most definitely be more wet systems in April and May and very likely in June.
