This is in the North Cascades. I can assure you there is nothing comparable in the lower 48 in terms of ruggedness and glaciated terrain. No “big trees” crowding the views.. I do get tired sometimes though being crowded by trees below 3K

Tourist death toll could be disappointingly low.

The lowlands would look way better if we could just uproot all these douglas firs and replace them with Canary Island date palms.
