After 18 days with just .58" on Friday pm I got a great rain! 2.46" on friday! I saw the slight spin on short term models 2 days previous. Progged to ride just south of iowa/mo border during daylight friday. I knew this could be a good setup! But nws and local media barely said boo! 20 to 30% by most outlets. Scattered cells bubbled up moving ene along the mo border. Then at 4 pm a cell blow up right over my land!!! Not large but .52" in 20 min. Nearly stationary! As soon as it nudged east it backbuilt over mby! The whole thing blew up moving east to west, with the spin in the perfect location! Rained about 5 hrs. Very heavy at times.
