Coyotes are pretty much everywhere. I've seen them right by downtown Denver, and apparently they're commonly sighted all over Los Angeles.

Drove from Portland to Wenatchee (via the Gorge, Hwy 97 to Yakima, and Vantage), then back home to Bothell over Steven's Pass today. Neat little loop that really gives a good tour of the drastic differences in landscape we are fortunate to have in our little corner of the world. Too bad it was super smoky on the east side though. Could barely even see across the Gorge while driving along Hwy 28 between Crescent Bar & Wenatchee.
