You're the only person on here who seems to think that every season of every year not being warmer than the last "proves" something revelatory. Other than what the rest of us already know, which is that statistical trends don't operate that way. Especially in a system as chaotic as the climate.
And the rapid warming is neither a localized nor a short term trend.
There's a logical way to look at warming (especially localized, short term trends) and then there's the hyperbolic path you went down.
But I guess you're committed!
It really does take a special kind of willful detachment from reality to observe the state of our climate in 2026 and think that any narratives about rapid warming (i.e. "doom") are being squashed.
1. Doesn't matter how you feel. The stats matter. Many ways to objectively measure it, and all point to the last two summers and especially this one falling short of the 2014-2024 standards that triggered your doom posting the past two years.
2. You're moving goal posts again to try to fit your narrative. Your doom narrative was about the warm season, not a running 12 month mean - sorry, doesn't fly.
I hit a high of 97 today as temps exceeded expectations. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow so I could make a run at 100. The grass is beginning to brown quickly and may not have to mow this week.
