It's really been pretty noticeable to me how sunny and persistently dry it's been for most of this year. At SEA it's tied with 1985 for the fewest measurable rainfall days on record for the YTD: At PDX it's the 3rd fewest behind 2015 and 1985: I'd imagine it's pretty much the same story in your area. Of course in 1985 we had a record dry January that significantly influenced that. And then had a record cold fall with a big jet extension in September. No such luck coming this year unfortunately.

I know this is off topic, but it is smoky outside for those of us north of Seattle.

Lol. At some point we will actually overperform as it arrives. But that is usually an October-March deal.

Or it could be the first signs of the much ballyhooed ice age that is expected to flash freeze us in early September.
