On patterns being stuck, it's happened even in winters where there is still a decent event in either PDX or SEA 2021-22 (anyone remember the seemingly 6 week inversion pattern from Janurary 10th to February 20th) 2024-25 (stubborn inversions, interrupted twice prior to February)
