If I recall correctly, you had said the QBO transition from easterly to westerly in conjunction with coming off of a super El Niño was the reason the NPAC High was amplified throughout much of the 2016/17 winter. Can you elaborate on that and or correct me if I'm wrong? That was one of the most persistently cold winters in the PNW region in a long time.
Absolutely. Not quite sure this individual can worry and complain about burning up and drought this summer, yet said he isn’t excited. At this point I could care less about snow and more focused on getting absolutely any moisture we can here at all
