Oh yeah there is a difference. The radiative flux doesn’t change linearly with respect to the incident angle due to the presence of the atmosphere.
I was in GA a few weeks ago and could definitely feel the change in intensity versus here. And having been to the PNW in the summer the solar flux is definitely muted by comparison, doesn’t feel nearly as hot and I don’t burn as easily.
Definitely. I had puddles from all the rain we have had recently that froze 2 nights ago from the really cold airmass behind the CFand snow falling on top making it look like March again. Crazy weather.
