Isn’t that going to make fire season worse? Seems like a recipe for a ton of grass/brush growth that will be bone dry by late summer.

Some parts of the Sierra foothills are going to see their wettest April on record, in fact. Grass Valley is at 12.12", just half an inch off from the record. And they're probably not done for the month.
