For me, there are only two seasons. Winter - October through April Summer - May through September

Sun is coming out. It was great mowing weather for a while, but now the sun is blasting.

Despite the dryness of the last month or so we aren't seeing a sharp brown-out yet, even in unwatered patches of grass. I'm crediting our green to the wet March and the lack of extreme heat above 80F like we've had in other dry, warm Springs such as 2016
