With el nino cranking up, 1st week of june might be the last cool/wet period for a while

Some nice logs in there! If only we weren’t facing the most gigantic massive Nino ever…

So far it looks like the models have been liking the idea of a showery cool first 1/3rd of June which is nice. I think we’re going to get a warmer than normal spell or even a heatwave mid to late month.

Perfect The electric grid here is much more prepared. I don't ever remember hearing about cuts or rationing. Average summer high in inland regions is 44-46°C, in Doha Airport station 42°C, and in Al-Ruwais (a city in the far northern coast with constant strong seabreeze) only 37°C.
