Looos like a win win to me. Areas starved for warmth, such as Seattle and West Yellowstone , get to enjoy warm summers now. The South and East by contrast now suffer through less summer humidity.
Wetter than any June at SEA between 1968 and 1990. Also colder at OLM than any June in the 1940s, and all but 2 in the 1950s. And colder than all but one in the 1980s/1990s.
It wasn't just 2008-2011 in that era. Warm seasons 2005, 2007, and 2012 were all a noticeable difference from this decade. A month like June 2012 or September 2005 would feel pretty alien now.
