In the short term it’s much drier compared to some previous runs today. Hoping for more rain in the short term and less in the long term. -

But the 18Z run does goes crazy with the rain on the 4th! The GFS is usually rock solid with precip maps at 270 hours... almost never changes. -

No doubt the GFS is showing its cut-off bias there and that will not happen. But verbatim its still not a terrible set up for us.- 1
