A little summer troughing and this forum devolves into the sequel series to desperate housewives. Imagine what a 1954-type summer would do.

Just a nice balance with no long doldrums. Decent heatwave (for the time) down here mid-month that was quickly followed by a pretty regional warm core convective event on the 17th-18th. I think the OR Coast alone easily had 1000+ strikes with it. Then an early fall wavetrain got going in the last third of the month with a good amount of rain and a pretty impressive trough at the very end.

I think there were a few hot and humid days that broke with a pretty decent round of thunderstorms moving south to north.

Pretty dynamic month. Pretty sexy heatwave around mid month with some boomers (not boomers) on the back end. Then a major crash, then a very BRISK trough at the end of the month. Then December.
