Same here. We had the HVAC debacle of November 2008 which helped conjure both 12/08 and 7/09.

That's kind of a funny stat, given that 2009 had more sub-70 days at SLE than any July from 2002-2008 and 1990-1998, except for July 1993 - which had the same number. Dynamic month!

Europe had a record breaking heat wave while we had our June Gloom. The heat wave ended a few days before I got to Sweden.

Agree. Still plenty of time for a back-loaded blowtorch, and a single normal-ish July in a sea of scorching summers doesn't really inspire confidence that we'll avoid it.
