    We did the needles district in canyonlands yesterday and absolutely loved it. We made a last minute decision to go to Mesa Verde National park in SW Colorado on the way to the Grand Canyon and we were blown away by how cool it was! We even got to see a young bear strolling around. Just got to the Grand Canyon about an hour ago. Full day here tomorrow then we’re coming back home.

    56/45 IMBY today. All I know is that my parents are glad that they are missing the cool and rainy weather but I’m hoping I can come back to some cool and rainy weather on the 26th after being in 90 degree humid weather for an entire week.

    Cool day here for the latter half of May. 59/45 spread. Clear overnight then partly to mostly cloudy with a band of heavier showers moving through in the afternoon. Picked up just under .10” of rain. Chilly sunset out there currently with some clearing, a brisk NW breeze and a current temp of 50.

    Warm today. 92. Another tomorrow through Tuesday. Then we have a a 30-50% chance of rain Mon and Tues. So far a nice Spring pattern. Beautiful day today.

    Southern California was actually warmer than Portland and Seattle today for a change.

    Sun came out for the first day since Tuesday here and it stayed mostly clear until sunset. Clearing patterns are very hard to predict.

    Same! First night in Aruba! Even though the heat index is 94F right now the breeze here is making it feel a lot cooler which is nice. Currently at a beach bar.

    I was 3.5ish years old but it’s crazy how vividly I remember that morning, I jumped out of bed and ran to my parents room as it was a sound I had never heard…Freaked me out! Was reminiscent of the sound of the Oso landslide.

    We pulled off a sub-55 high today. Lots of heavy showers with hail albeit no thunder. Nice to have some variety in the Spring pattern this year, unlike the last two with either constant troughing or ridging.
