6z GFS cut back on heat even more. Temps look like 00z Euro. Euro AI (have we decided whether its useful yet?) looked identical to the GFS in terms of 500mb pattern
Wouldn't keep things green. Evaporation and runoff would outpace that amount of precipitation.
Even during the bummer summer of 1993 (I think; may be off by a year) the lawns were mostly brown by late July.
At exactly 1.00" so far for the month. Should pick up another 0.1-0.2" before the rain ends tomorrow probably putting me close to 2/3 of average for June. It would be nice to see some more rain later in the month, but the sunny weather--especially if it allows the high elevation snowpack to transition to a spring cycle--will also be nice for a bit.
