The EPS continues to show the same weak above normal heights signal across the CONUS in the 240+ hour time frame that it's consistently shown for the past month or so...but reality has been a lot more alternating ridges/troughs across the country, especially for the northern tier.
So I wouldn't necessarily read much into that weak signal in the extended period.
