2005 was so active, we still had 4 named storms from this point (Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta). The most amazing part is that none of them were a short one or two-day storm. All of them lasted for about a week, even Zeta during the first week of January.
Saturday morning presents the first real shot at lowland snowfall for the PNW 2024-25 season, as an incoming warm front overrides dammed cold air in the Strait of Georgia. Should see low snow levels down to 500' in spots to greet the first bands of precipitation, with some flakes mixing to sea level as a wintry medley or chunky/suspicious rain.
